Bio
I am a depth psychotherapist grounded in Jungian psychology. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, this work invites a deeper exploration of meaning, identity, and inner life with a goal of lasting psychological change. Depth psychotherapy recognizes that much of human experience is influenced by unconscious processes, forces which often show up in recurring life patterns, emotional struggles, or moments of feeling “stuck.” Through careful attention to these patterns, depth therapy becomes a process of cultivating self-awareness, integration of new growth, and increasing psychological flexibility.
A central feature of depth psychotherapy is the therapeutic relationship itself. Our work unfolds within a collaborative, trusting relationship that allows deeper material to emerge at a pace that feels safe and respectful. Over time, this relationship becomes a meaningful space for insight, emotional honesty, and transformation. Depth psychotherapy is typically longer-term, as it values sustained inquiry and recognizes that profound change often develops gradually. While this approach is informed by Jungian theory – including attention to symbolism, imagination, and the unconscious – sessions are grounded in your lived experience. We explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life transitions as they arise, while also remaining curious about the deeper meanings and internal dynamics at play. Dreams or symbolic material may be explored when relevant, but always in service of understanding your current life concerns and inner development.
In a typical session, you are invited to bring whatever feels most present – challenges, questions, emotions, or experiences from your daily life. Together, we reflect on patterns, explore inner conflicts, and develop insight into how unconscious dynamics may be influencing your choices and relationships. My role is to offer thoughtful reflection, psychological perspective, and a steady presence as you deepen your relationship with yourself. Depth psychotherapy is well-suited for those seeking more than quick solutions – for individuals drawn to meaningful self-exploration, personal growth, and a deeper sense of authenticity. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, or life transitions, this work offers a space to understand yourself more fully and move toward lasting change.
