Bio
My name is Erica, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief counseling, life transitions, marital counseling, women’s issues, LGBTQ issues, multi-ethnic counseling, co-parenting/blended family issues, divorce issues, and job-related distress. I integrate Strength-Based, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Collaborative, Bowen, Ericksonian, Cognitive Behavioral, and Somatic Therapies.
My goal is to provide you with a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental place to work through life’s issues. My ability to empathize with people and my collaborative approach enhance the therapeutic progress. Each person’s culture and beliefs are highly respected, which helps clients feel valued and understood. I believe it’s essential to recognize the totality of your life experiences in the therapeutic process. My perspective is that our relationships, since birth, have impacted our worldviews, beliefs, and relationships.
I am very passionate about the mind-body connection and incorporate somatic therapies, mindfulness, spirituality, meditation, trance, and energy work (Reiki) into the therapeutic experience. If you’re curious about holistic approaches, I can help you explore how these techniques may support your healing. My role is that of a facilitator, guiding you to change patterns, improve relationships, live authentically, and be your best self, whatever that may look like today. I look forward to working with you, your partner, or your family.
