Bio
My name is Allen Seaquist, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have experience working with a broad range of clients and clinical issues, with particular emphases in helping my clients effectively navigate anxiety, depression, and grief. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment for my clients, where they experience both empathy and accountability, and where honesty and growth are encouraged. I believe in second chances and in God’s power and desire to redeem life’s painful experiences. I am continually humbled that people entrust their stories to me, and I strive to honor those stories through my work.
Outside my workspace, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, being outdoors, cheering on the Packers, and playing piano. I value faith, family, and working hard. One of my favorite Bible verses is in Hebrews 2 and captures how much God loves us, in spite of our deficiencies: “Jesus is not ashamed to call [us] brothers.”
